Buffalo Rally

I am not a motorcycle enthusiast at all, but every year in March, bikers from all over the country descend onto our little dorpie and take it over for the annual Buffalo Rally.  There are bikes of all shapes and sizes, and people too – some of which are really scary.  It is a rowdy affair, but thankfully, only for a very short period of time.  I like to take a drive past the caravan park on the Saturday afternoon, after the “mass ride” just to see how many people there are.  If I do it again this year I will post a pic.

It is raining at the moment, and the forecast for the rest of the weekend is that it is going to continue to rain…one thing I’m sure of is that no amount of water falling from the sky is going to dampen the bikers’ spirits.

My first boyfriend had a motorbike and we used to go out en masse on the Sunday breakfast runs. I loved it!
